Why would anyone with any sense do something like that? It is immature as well as ignorant.
You do understand that the right person could find out who you are and report your admission of breaking the law to the authorities, right? That would either leave you to admit your theft or play the coward and lie. I'm guessing you're what... 15 ? Maybe only 12?
Try staying in a Marriott some time. They have a couple of extra books in their nightstand drawers.
It isn't stealing, because the Gideons allow them to be taken and actually want people to take them. When you take one, the maid will simply replace it with another one. So I don't take them. I just write ';fiction'; on the inside cover.

You are free to keep the Gideon Bible you find in your hotel room. It is the mission of the Gideon society to provide Bibles to people who want them. So while your actions in ';stealing'; these volumes are childish, they are not illegal.

Nah I would not do that. I remember a friend of mine, who was Christian used to rip out the pages and roll a joint with them(not a lie).
Someone who steals Bibles, needs to read them first. Maybe they would relize that is wrong and they can die and go to hell for that.





Hate to let everyone know but Deazone, your friend that used the Bible like that is not a Christian. No wonder us Chiristian have a bad name. There are some people that THINK they are Chrisitans, but that means they SHOULD be CHRIST LIKE!!! Christ would not do that.
Actually, the Bibles are placed there for your taking if you don't already own a Bible and wish to read it. They replace them. However, I don't recommend ';stealing'; them for fun because it does cost money to replace them!
