This shows that designated smoking hotel rooms may be exempted, however the legislation puts so much pressure on hoteliers that most chains and many independent hotels have simply banned smoking throughout their premises. If you do smoke in a hotel room which is let as a non-smoking room, the proprietor will reserve the right to make a charge to decommission the room and fumigate it - that can cost a couple of hundred quid. Can you smoke in hotel rooms?
Yes.

i dont smoke whether it in hotel room or other places.
While smokefree legislation will not guarantee that people will get a smokefree hotel room, the regulations require hotel proprietors to specifically designate the hotel rooms that are not smokefree and ensure that hotel rooms for smoking are clearly marked.
Not in the UK you can't. It's illegal in ALL public places.
