Hotel rooms versus town house...?

ok...me, my girlfriend and another couple are looking for somewhere to go for spring break next year...

we went to daytona beach this year...and it was fun, but we want somewhere different this year.

we stayed in a hotel before...which we thought was a good deal at about 100 dollars a night, but i have been looking in to these townhomes that are offered to rent for like a week at a time...and they are only like 700 dollars for the whole time...and we could put both couples in one house

has anyone done this type of vactationing before??? all 4 of us are 20 which may make a bump in the road...but let me know about how to go through this process..a good site to go through, and any experiences please

thanks alot

For the $$$$, the townhouse is a better deal! In a hotel, you may or may not have a fridge, microwave, safe for valuables. In a townhouse, you will have a kitchen, and won't be as likely to need a safe. It will be more comfortable to relax in, if needed. You may not spend much time there, but if you do, you will enjoy it much more. The price sounds about equal, I'd go with the townhouse.

My wife and I went to Mexico for our honeymoon and stayed in a condo. The next year, we went back and stayed in a hotel. The condo was much better!
