I would have to say 18, unless you hotel manager feels pity for you.

You'll need a credit card, usually in your own name.

The first time I rented a hotel room, it wasn't till I was 18.

Best advice is call the hotel yourself and ask them. They would have you answer then anyone else on this website. How old do you have to be to stay in a hotel room?
there's really no age.

they don't i.d. you or anything.

as long as you have your dad's credit card, that's erally all they want, and they're not gonna ask you any questions or anything.
The hotel's website will usually state this somewhere. Most are usually either 18 or 21.

A few hotels may ask for ID, but not many do. Especially if you have a credit card to put on file with them.
you can be as young as you want to STAY in a hotel room

To actually rent one under your name, you must be 18
