Most hotels do have smoking floors with smoking rooms. Just request for a smoking room. Promenade hotel is one of them which offer sea view smoking rooms.Smoking hotel rooms in kota kinabalu?
You are not allowed to smoke in public areas, like the hotel lobby, which is pretty much the same the world over, but there are smoking sections (some enclosed or partioned) in hotel restaurants.... Most hotels have '; smoking'; floors.....It is advisable not to smoke in a non-smoking room because you may set off the fire alarm or the wet sprinkler, and it is a matter of courtesy to leave a room ';smoke free'; for the next non smoking guest...Rooms in which you are allowed to smoke have less sensitive fire alarms.....
I was there 3 months ago and officially there is a no smoking policy in all hotels across Malaysia, but in reality there are ashtrays in every room and no one ever complains if people are smoking or not.
i would smoke in a non smoking room, never ever bother about that and never ever get a complaint
