Do you have to be over 21 to get a hotel room?

Planning on staying in Albany, NY but I'm only 19. What's the minimum age for reserving a hotel room?Do you have to be over 21 to get a hotel room?
If you have a credit card they will be delighted to take your money.Do you have to be over 21 to get a hotel room?
yes you can stay thr and if you pay by your credit card then they will not have any issue, In such a condition of your specified requirement, i am going to provide you a better option though which you can easily select your desired hotel from overall Albany in terms of good services/features, although you can make direct bookings as well.

No. Legally you can rent a room at 18, however many hotel chains have a policy of not renting to anyone under 21 because unaccompanied teens have a habit of disturbing other guests, and damaging the room. Why not simply call the hotel you plan to stay at, and ask about their policy? Most have a toll free number.

good luck..
I thought 18 was the limit, but I just saw a ';must be 21 unless in military'; sign at one motel recently -- so you might want to call first.
