Hotel rooms with a view?

i would like to stay in a cheap hotel on the strip, i would like a cheap VIEW room,

any suggestions APART from the excaliburHotel rooms with a view?
The Rio is pretty cool but it isnt on the strip thoughHotel rooms with a view?
binions hotel downtown 22nd flr. rooms 2202 - 2218 all these with view of the strip. rates are low sun. - thur. if the pool is open on top of hotel you get a 360 view. pool open 8am - 8pm 7 days a week weather permitting.
Room price is obviously important to you. In that case I suggest Treasure Island or Monte Carlo for the best prices. Rooms at TI or MC are among the least expensive (while still clean and comforatable) among the mega-resorts on the strip.

Since view is also important to you, I recommend TI. When you make your reservation, you can reserve a room on the South side of the 3-sided hotel toward the Mirage. The Strip veers to the northeast at Treasure Island and the southside of the hotel faces straight down the middle of the strip facing south. You'll have a perfect view of the Mirage Volcano going off several times each night. Another option is to ask for a room on the side facing the TI Sirens Pirate show. My wife and I did this several years ago before TI chaged the old pirate show to the current production. It was a lot of fun to watch the show unfold from above.

Monte Carlo is my current favorite hotel in Vegas for four reasons: location, cleanliness, comfort, %26amp; price. It's in the perfect location... just across the Strip from Aladdin %26amp; MGM, while right next to NYNY. They also have one of the best micro-breweries west of the Mississippi and a monorail to Belaggio. If you stay there, request a room in the front of the hotel facing east towards the Strip for the best views.

Best of luck to you in your hotel hunting... and have fun when you get there!
Depending on when you're going you can get a view of the Bellagio Fountains from Bally's for a very reasonable amount. We've also stayed at the top of the Tropicana in a large suite and had a view in every direction that was awesome. From different windows we had direct views of NY NY, Mandalay Bay, MGM, Excalibur, Luxor and half way up the strip. It was an upgrade from a cheapie and was only $36/night. Try and beat that for thirty-six bucks! (Just don't eat there!) You can try to get a regular room at the Trop that might have about half that much view. It's worth staying just for the view and you really only sleep there anyway.
I have gone to Vegas 10 times in the past 5 years and you barely spend time in your room, no need to upgrade to a room with a view.
